S&W AWARDS AND PHOTOS REINLISTS WITH THE T3 ALL STAR SERIES

(Woodhull, NY) S&W Awards and Photos of Corning, NY will be back with the T3 All Star Series for 358 Modifieds presented by Troyer Race Cars in 2008 as the Official Photographers, Trophy and Plaque supplier of the series. When the fourth year touring group begins its 2008 campaign the winner of the scheduled season opener will be receiving a different style of trophy, similar to last season compliments of the series. For the first two full seasons each feature winner received a customary 6’ tall trophy which at the time was symbolic of winning a T3 event; however that all changed in 2007. “Scott Lyon of S&W Awards and I had been talking for quite some time about going to a different style of trophy. At one time the 6 footers were a big deal, now everyone gives them out, so we went to an even more unique style of trophy, stated T3 promoter, Kenny Shupp. When we started this series four years ago it was kind of a throw back to the old All Star League that competed on both black top and dirt in the late 60’s. I liked the concept of a touring series with the best names in the business taking part, so last year we decided to go with a more traditional trophy of that era and each feature winner last season just love it.”
The winner’s trophy will be on display at one of the upcoming car shows that the T3 All Star Series will be present at in the spring of 2008. I’m not sure just yet when we’ll unveil the trophy but going with our theme, it will be a very unique piece and it will be constructed by S&W Awards and Photos.”
Along with being a distributor of the Gater Racing News, S&W Awards and Photos will also be back at the Woodhull Raceway in 2008 as the Official Photographers and will run the tracks photo and novelty stand.
For more information about the series simply go to the web at www.t3allstarseries.com. S&W Awards and Photos are linked directly to the T3 site.

HAZLITT 1852 VINEYARDS TO SPONSOR THE RED CAT RE-DRAW FOR THE T3 ALL STAR SERIES FOR 358 MODIFIEDS PRESENTED BY TROYER RACE CARS.

(Woodhull, NY) At each Motorsports event where a draw/redraw is involved there is much anticipation as to first of all who will qualify into the re-draw and secondly who will pull pill #1. In the case of the T3 All Star Series for 358 Modifieds presented by Troyer Race Cars at each tour event the top twelve qualifiers automatically go into the Hazlitt 1852 Vineyards Red Cat Redraw. Named after the highly popular party/hot tub wine, the Red Cat Pole Position is the starting spot that all drivers are looking for. Instead of the customary pills or Popsicle sticks, the T3 Series uses actual bottles of Red Cat Wine for the top twelve re-draw spots. “I’ve never seen anything quite like it, stated T3 promoter, Kenny Shupp Jr. After the drivers are qualified it is a foot race to the re-draw area because everyone wants a bottle of the Red Cat. It has even gotten to the point where many of the driver’s wives, mothers and girl friends draw for them simply because they want the Red Cat for themselves.” Each bottle has a number taped to the bottom; one thru twelve and that signifies where each driver is to start in the feature event. The Red Cat in many cases is used for celebrations after the races are completed and several drivers put them on their trophy shelves as keep sake. Whatever the case the popularity of this Finger Lakes Wine has drawn the attention of race fans all over the northeast. “Our sales of Red Cat Wine have gone through the roof the past few years and we feel that a lot of it has to do with the race crowd. With the T3 Series running at numerous tracks all over New York and Pennsylvania it has given our company new exposure to some areas that we perhaps we wouldn’t reach out to otherwise.” That according to Hazlitt 1852 Vineyards owner, Doug Hazlitt.
For the fourth consecutive year, Hazlitt’s will sponsor the Red Cat Re-draw and as they have done in the past each of the top ten finishers in the final 2008 point tally will each receive a complementary bottle of the red wine. Hazlitt 1852 Vineyards in located just ten miles north of Watkins Glen, NY on Rt. 414. Situated high atop the eastern side of beautiful Seneca Lake, Hazlitt 1852 Vineyards has a complete retail and merchandise shop and also offers wine tastings Monday thru Saturday. For more information simply go to www.t3allstarseries.com and click onto “RED CAT.”

SWARTHOUT RECYCLING REJOINS THE T3 ALL STAR SERIES FOR 358 MODIFIEDS PRESENTED BY TROYER RACE CARS AS A MAJOR POINT FUND CONTRIBUTOR.

(Woodhull, NY) Swarthout Recycling of Beaver Dams, NY will re-join the T3 All Star Series for 358 Modifieds presented by Troyer Race Cars in 2008 as a point fund contributor. Known as one of the largest metal recycling companies in the region, Swarthout Recycling will once again pump much needed cash into the point fund which T3 officials hope will draw more traveling teams to the fourth year tour. The series has been very fortunate to have numerous product contingency sponsors help out by offering goods and services either on a race to race deal or at the end of the season according to the final point tally, but in the case of Swarthout Recycling 100% of the cash donation goes directly into the season ending point fund which is shared by the top point getters. According to Brian Swarthout of Swarthout Recycling, “I am a racer myself and I know first hand how much the racers need the additional money help cover expenses.” It should be noted that Brian Swarthout is a two time Black Rock Speedway 358 Modified Track Champion and will make a run for his third title in 2008. “I like to hit a few of the T3 events during the season when my schedule permits, noted Swarthout. But, because of our family owned business, the amount of time that the team and I put into preparation for weekly competition at Black Rock, I probably won’t attend to many T3 All Star Series events this year.”
Tentative plans call for Swarthout to take on the high banks of the Woodhull Raceway on a limited basis in 2008 and he did finish in the final top ten point standings in the inaugural 2005 T3 All Star Series.
Like last season all of the qualifying heat races at the 2008 T3 events will be referred to as the Swarthout Recycling Qualifying Heat Events.
It was not disclosed how much money Swarthout’s will pump into the T3 All Star Series season ending point fund, but according to T3 officials it is “Substantial and we can’t thank Brian and his family enough for helping boost our 2008 point fund.” For any additional information on the T3 All Star Series for 358 Modifieds simply go to the web at www.t3allstarseries.com
